Souradeep is a third year graduate student in the McDermott lab studying the theoretical relaxation phenomena and identifying new NMR methodologies to extract accurate dynamics parameters for biomolecular motions. Born and raised in Kolkata, India, Souradeep did his Bachelor’s in Chemistry from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. Later, he pursued his Master’s in Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and another from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore focusing on solution state NMR studies of globular and disordered proteins. In his free time, Souradeep enjoys playing tennis, going for runs, and watching movies.
