Chengming received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Biology from Nankai University in China and completed his PhD in Chemistry at Columbia University in May 2024. His research focuses on using solid-state NMR to study amyloid structures which are functional and play significant roles in necroptosis and innate immunity. Additionally, he investigates the dynamics of microcrystalline ubiquitin and measures order parameters using both solid-state NMR and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. In his free time, he enjoys reading about new advancements in technology, experimenting with cooking different cuisines, and watching sci-fi.
